The registration of dogs is compulsory in accordance with Queensland Government legislation.
Compulsory registration aims to:
- Promote responsible pet ownership throughout the community
- Enable dogs to be identified and reunited with their owners
- Provide safety and security for your dog, you and the community
To register your dog, amend an existing registration, change ownership of your dog or to renew a lapsed dog registration complete Bundaberg Regional Council’s online form here.
