From Our Town To Yours is the new limited-edition drop being released from Bundaberg Rum in an effort to raise funds for flood-impacted communities.

On a mission to raise $200,000 to help communities across Queensland and New South Wales recover and rebuild, all profits from the sales of the rum will be donated to the Australian Red Cross QLD and NSW Floods Appeal.

Bundaberg Rum will directly donate $100,000, with the other $100,000 to be raised from sales of the limited-edition rum.

To pay tribute to the resilience and fortitude on display along much of Australia’s east-coast, each of the collectable bottles will feature the name of one of the more than 40 flood ravaged regions – from Gladstone, to Gympie, Brisbane, Lismore and Greater Sydney.

Bundaberg Rum has previously helped raise funds for recovery efforts after the Black Summer bushfires and the Queensland floods of 2011.

Bundaberg Rum Distillery Marketing Manager Duncan Littler said From Our Town to Yours continued the tradition of other flood-recovery initiatives from Bundaberg Rum, including the 2011 Watermark and 2013 Road to Recovery.

“We’ve lived through floods first-hand in Bundy and we know the long, difficult road to recovery that lies ahead,” he said.

“We know many of our loyal Bundy drinkers are looking for ways to help, and buying this limited-edition collectable Rum is one way they can do that, knowing all profits will go to the Australian Red Cross QLD and NSW Floods Appeal.

“We’re trying to play our small part in assisting the flood relief efforts and highlight the resilience and strength of flood-impacted communities on these special Bundy Rum bottles.

“This limited-edition rum is from our town to yours, it’s Bundy’s way of having the backs of these great communities in need.”

  1. I cannot see how Bundaberg Rum will be able to survive this new age. They have hardly any product on the website, When you became an ambassador for Bundaberg Rum they promised that they would send all promotions by email, they have stop this now and only news social media.
As a collector of Bundaberg Rum I am finding it very hard to find out when they have specials on and also when I have emotions like the flood to raise money for Queensland and New South Wales.
For this company to survive they need to pull their finger out and start festival with their website by putting all of their products up there for all Australians not just people who visit their store. I need to promote at least a week ahead of any major promotions.
As someone who has spent over $5000 in the last two years with Bundaberg Rum I am absolutely disgusted that they still have not done any of these upgrades
