A love for capturing precious moments with her family has inspired local woman Cindy Golchert to open new photography business, Scintillate Imagery.
The Bundaberg creative said she had always loved taking photos and her business was built from a passion for documenting life through the lens.
“Photography started as a hobby for me about seven years ago, a year after having my first baby,” she said.
“Time is so fleeting and I am forever documenting our lives and our story for my children.
“Taking photos is just something I have always loved doing for myself, for my children and for my family and now for others.”
Established in September this year, Scintillate Imagery offers a range of photoshoot packages for motherhood, newborn, engagements, families and more.
Cindy said what began as something she would do for fun had turned into a passion project that she was thrilled to be sharing with others.
“One of my favourite parts of my job is the people and families I get to meet and work with,” she said.
“It is such an honour to be asked to capture important moments in people’s lives.
“To be hearing about their lives, witnessing love stories unfold, watching kids grow up – it is such a gift to call this my job!”
Cindy said while each of her photography sessions were always unique and special, she was particularly fond of shootz featuring mothers and their children.
“The raw connection there is something I hold very dear,” she said.
“There’s also an intense pride I feel when I can make a fellow mother feel her absolute best.”
With Christmas just around the corner, Cindy said she had just announced mini festive family photo sessions to be held at AllyHar Alpaca Farm in Branyan.
“Christmas minis are held in 15 minute time slots where you receive five digital images via a personal online gallery,” she said.
