Heather Morris, the global bestselling author of The Tattooist of Auschwitz and Cilka’s Journey, will visit the Bundaberg Library for an author talk this month.
Bundaberg community members are invited to attend the event where they will have the chance to hear from Heather in person for a discussion about her new book, Three Sisters.
Three Sisters is her third novel and the final piece in the phenomenon that is the Tattooist of Auschwitz series.
The book is based on a true story of hope in the hardest of times, and of finding love after loss with two of the sisters still living in Israel today, surrounded by friends and family.
They have chosen Heather Morris to tell their story.
Council’s Art, Culture and Events portfolio spokesperson Cr John Learmonth said the event was set to be a popular one with Heather’s reputation as a bestselling author.
“It is wonderful to have an author of Heather’s calibre visiting our region and hosting an event at the Bundaberg Library,” Cr Learmonth said.
“I encourage the community to come down and be part of the event which I am sure will be a very interesting session.”
Doors open 5.45pm with light refreshments to be served from 6pm and the talk commencing at 6:30pm.
Copies of Heather’s book may be purchased at the event, through your local bookseller or online retailer, and borrowed from the Libraries.
