High school students in the Bundaberg Region are invited to attend the attend The Santos Science Experience, hosted by CQUniversity Bundaberg.
The three-day program will engage students in a range of science-related activities with a focus on medicine and the environment.
Event organiser Dr Cara Wilson said this year’s science experience will challenge students to think about medicine from an environmental perspective.
“Medicine embodies all aspects of STEM and is a great theme to educate students about various STEM career pathways that they might not have considered,” Dr Wilson said.
Guided by a group of passionate scientists and experts, the students will participate in group rotational sessions over two days.
On the third day, students will use their information and experience to solve a real-world problem before pitching their solutions to an audience and panel of judges.
Registrations are now open for high school students in Years 9 and 10 to attend The Santos Science Experience, hosted by CQUniversity Bundaberg these school holidays (28-30 September).
