The Carinbundi Foundation will be hosting its third golf day next month to raise funds towards providing quality, affordable homes for people living with a disability in Bundaberg.
The foundation’s coordinator Debra Phillips said the format for the day featured a four-person ambrose with plenty of prizes available for those participating.
“We have prizes from Noosa Springs Resort, Callaway golf balls, Red Shed Seafood, Salty Nut Co, Cha Cha Chocolates, 3i Electrical as well as Bunnings Vouchers and Visa Cards,” she said.
“There will be a barbecue on the day which is generously being run by the Bundaberg North Lions Club.
“This group have been supporters of the Carinbundi Foundation since its inception so we are happy to have them as part of our team on the day.”
Debra said 60 players were already booked in to the event so far, with a sold-out day expected for the 2021 charity game.
She said the funds raised were vital in the support of Carinbundi’s aim to provide homes for people with a disability.
“Any houses owned by the Carinbundi Foundation will always be there, first and foremost, for people living with a disability,” Debra said.
“Donors can rest assured that their support will continue to change the lives of people living with a disability and their families.
“Their legacy is a gift that will continue to grow.”
Debra said major sponsor eFlux had again raised their hand to support the Carinbundi golf day event.
“The eFlux team have supported us from our first golf day in 2019,” she said.
“There are quite a number of sponsors who are again sponsoring a hole as well as some new businesses.
“It is so good to see local businesses supporting our vision.”
Sponsors so far include eFlux, 3i Electrical, Innstyle Mensland, Ascot Homes, A Cut Above at Moore Park Beach, Strategix, Ross Gray, JRZ Homes, Generation Funerals, Kleidon Masterbuilt Homes, Pulse Electrical, McIntosh Homes, STEPS Group Australia, CLS and LocalSearch.
