The Bundaberg Region will feature on Creek to Coast today as Scotty and the crew explore the coastline and stay at the Moore Park Beach Holiday Park.
Airing on Channel 7 at 5.30 pm on Saturday 8 May, Scott Hillier embarks on the trip from “Brisbane to Bundy by caravan”.
“Join me and the team from Stoney Creek Campers as we travel up the coast thanks to Caravanning Queensland,” Scotty said in the episode preview.
While in the region, the crew enjoy a stay at the Moore Park Beach Holiday Park.
The park boasts an absolute beachfront location surrounded by parklands.
Just 18 km from the heart of Bundaberg, it’s the perfect launching point to explore the region and the almost 20 km of golden, sandy coastline in Moore Park Beach.
The unique holiday park is pet friendly and popular with caravanners.
Director of 1 Eight Pty Ltd Douglas Tait, who manages Council’s Moore Park Beach and Elliot Heads Holiday Parks, welcomed the crew to the region and shared what he loves about the unique location.
The Creek to Coast crew then hit the road and the seas to explore the best of what the region has to offer.
A number of local businesses will be featured in the episode including the Australian Caravan Museum at Searle’s RV Centre and Truansea Charters.
“We’ve got tips and tricks … cracking campsites … and of course a couple of fish,” Scotty said.
“I love my fishing but it puts a bigger smile on my face to watch others who haven’t done it do it.
“It’s just fantastic.”
Bundaberg Regional Council has four holiday parks, each with unique water views, at Moore Park Beach, Miara, Elliott Heads and Burnett Heads.
