There will be plenty of Easter fun on offer at Childers Nature Camp this year, with a huge event planned for the whole family to enjoy.
Easter At The Camp will be held on Saturday, 3 April and according to owner Matt Roberts, the event will be packed full of activities and entertainment throughout the day.
“There will be an Easter egg hunt, a visit from the Easter bunny, food stalls, jumping castle, live entertainment, games, camp raffles with prizes to be won, night movies in the bush and plenty more,” he said.
“We will also have some night time spotlighting fun, RV information session around the camp fire, camp oven desserts and a mobile café.
“Easter At The Camp is being supported by many great, local businesses and bringing their services out to our visitors at the event.”
While Easter At The Camp activities will be held across one day, Matt said visitors were welcome to book for as long as they liked.
“Bring your caravan, motorhome, tent or swag and enjoy the weekend or even a week or two with us,” he said.
Childers Nature Camp supports local
Matt said Childers Nature Camp was first established eight months ago and provided the perfect outdoor spot for caravan and RV owners to relax.
He said the facility was also open to anyone wanting to book in for a camping holiday, tours or excursions.
“We do a lot of education programs and we are an NDIS provider as well,” he said.
“At Childers Nature Camp, we are all about supporting our fantastic local disability organisations, all of our local busiensses and those who just love to get out and into the great outdoors.”
Situated at 264 Cooks Road, South Isis, Matt said Childers Nature Camp visitors could enjoy many activities during their stay.
“From nature walks to bird watching, having a bite to eat in our picnic areas, outdoor recreation, meeting new people and more, there is always plenty to do,” he said.
“Campers can also stay in style with our newly introduced glamping tents now available.
“These tents can cater for large families, couples, singles, disability group camping and other types of group camping and include all beds, bedding with kitchen, barbecue, firewood and picnic sets available at an extra cost.”
