Two lucky residents will have the chance to get up-close and personal with an Art Date including a delicious brunch from Pocket Storehouse, Cha Cha Chocolate and One Little Farm, as Bundaberg Regional Art Gallery reopens.
Earlier this year Bundaberg Regional Galleries closed its doors to the public due to COIVD-19 restrictions, and during this time the Gallery team has been hard at work restoring artwork and bringing new life to exhibits.
Now to celebrate the exciting reopening of the Gallery one lucky person, and a friend, will have the chance to get up-close and personal on the Art Date and enjoy an intimate encounter with art.
The winner will enter the Gallery before doors open to the public at 9am on Saturday, 29 August, and enjoy a private meet and greet with Gallery Director Rebecca McDuff and FOUND! exhibition curator Adrienne Williams.
The winning Art Date pair will take in the current exhibitions: FOUND Studio Dog, and A Bridge Through Time: A Brief History of Bundaberg’s Iconic Bridges, as well as the delicious packed brunch full of local delicacies.
Rebecca said the Galleries had been working behind the scenes while the COVID-19 restrictions were in place, and the team had implemented COVID-19 practises to keep patrons safe while visiting.
She said to enter the Art Date competition go to the Art Date post on the Gallery’s Facebook or Instagram account, leave a comment about what you are most looking forward to about revisiting the Gallery, and tag the person you’d like to bring with you.
The most creative answer will be selected to go on an Art Date. The winner will be announced in the evening of Wednesday, 26 August on social media and contacted by direct message.
