Despite a tough past, beautiful Barney is a kind-hearted dog searching for his forever home.
The two-year-old Labrador cross Mastiff is slowly regaining his trust in people, and although wary, is kind, gentle and, if you let him, will give you lots of cuddles and kisses.
Possibly kept in small confinement in the past, Barney thinks that letting you catch him means something bad so he needs someone with time to spare to show him that they love him and, in return, he will give you his unconditional love back.
Best suited to a household without no other dogs, Barney loves to spend time with his owner and is a large lapdog at heart.
He loves water, which makes bathing him easy, and is also a fond fan of tug of war.
