Bundaberg’s Sweet Potatoes Australia is showing the world what they do as part of Growing Queensland’s #MakingItForQLD campaign.
Marketing manager Hannah Jacobs said the campaign has been set up to celebrate and share what is being produced, created, and manufactured in Queensland.
“Information about the initiative was sent to us from the Minister for State Development, Manufacturing, Infrastructure and Planning, inviting us to participate and contribute a few photographs or video to the campaign,” Hannah said.
“We had also seen a few posts and other videos popping up on social media by Growing Queensland and felt it was something that we wanted to be a part of.
“Any opportunity to showcase how great our region is, and what we can produce right here in Bundaberg is something we like to support.”
Sweet Potatoes Australia’s #MakingItForQLD video was filmed and entirely produced in-house by Sweet Potatoes Australia staff.
“It was a team effort by our Marketing, Video Production and HR teams.
“Our aim was to showcase our farms, production teams and business at large to help tell our sweet potato story.”
The video premiered on their Facebook page and is on their Instagram page, YouTube channel, and shared on LinkedIn platforms.
“The short film has been well received, not only with everyone involved in creating it, but also by the wider community and outside organisation sharing it from their own platforms.
“The team love being involved and this is something that we will continue to do more of, showcasing all of the great people that make what we do at Sweet Potatoes Australia possible.”
