A headstrong Chinese-American woman returns to China when her beloved grandmother is diagnosed with terminal cancer.

Billi struggles with her family’s decision to keep grandma in the dark about her own illness as they all stage an impromptu wedding to see grandma one last time.

Joseph Tawadros and his brother James will perform at the Moncrieff in February

One of the most impressive musicians to emerge in Australia.

Joseph Tawadros AM is a leading Oud virtuoso, composer and four time ARIA Award Winner.

Born in Cairo, brought up in Sydney, he is currently based in London, but travels often to perform including Australian tours each year.

Joseph will be appearing at the Moncrieff with his brother James.

Shoplifters – Moncrieff Cinema Society
Sunday 23 February – 3pm

After one of their shoplifting sessions, Osamu and his son come across a little girl in the freezing cold.

At first reluctant to shelter the girl, Osamu’s wife agrees to take care of her after learning of the hardships she faces.

The Peanut Butter Falcon – Film Fundraiser

The Peanut Butter Falcon is an adventure story set in the world of a modern Mark Twain that begins when Zak (22), a young man with Down syndrome.

Zak runs away from the nursing home where he lives to chase his dream of becoming a professional wrestler by attending the wrestling school The Salt Water Redneck.

‘The 2 Of Us’ in up close and personal mode for 2020.

Brand new songs, back-stage and life stories, but including the classics from their vast repertoire spanning 35 years, will be included in this final run.
