Fans of soulful singer Xavier Rudd have a chance to secure early tickets for his upcoming Bundaberg concert on 22 August at the Moncrieff Entertainment Centre.
Rudd is the latest big-name talent to schedule a Bundaberg show, including Lee Kernaghan, Isaiah Firebrace and John Paul Young.
The famous Aussie musician is on the road with his Storm Boy tour. Shortly after releasing the hit single Walk Away in March 2018, fans were welcoming the epic ninth studio album titled Storm Boy.
Debuting at number one on the Australian ARIA charts and in the top 10 in some European countries, Rudd took Storm Boy on the road to North America, the UK and Europe as well as Australia and New Zealand, but until now, nothing north of Brisbane.
Bundaberg Regional Council’s Community and Cultural Services portfolio spokesperson Cr Judy Peters said the one-night-only performance would be one not to miss.
“Having such an iconic Australian performer coming to Bundaberg is extremely exciting,” she said.
“Xavier Rudd is an incredibly talented musician with such a large following.
“His ability to connect to people is inspiring.”
Xavier Rudd will perform at the Moncrieff Entertainment Centre on Thursday, 22 August at 7pm.
