Tractors, mowers, vehicles, household items, pumps and other sundry goods are all required for the Childers Rotary Monster Auction scheduled for Saturday, 22 June.
Childers Rotary president Garth Robinson said listings are now being invited for the auction.
“It really is a case of you list and we will sell it,” said Mr Robinson.
“Our previous auctions have been great in terms of clearances for vendors and in raising funds for Childers Rotary.
“The auction will be held at the Childers Showgrounds and we are seeking a diverse range of items for sale.
“It is a simple matter of contacting the auction organiser Graham Walker at Childers News (0474 298 058) to request details of the auction and terms of sale. Enquiries or listings can also be forwarded to childersauction@gmail.com.”
Funds raised support Rotary’s programs
Mr Robinson said funds raised from the auction support Rotary’s local and international programs.
“Locally we support the Rotary Lodge project which assists rural patients with accommodation during required visits to Bundaberg to access health services. At an international level we support programs including Solbikes which saw our club provide dozens of restored pushbikes to the Solomon Islands.
“A current Childers Rotary project involves fund raising for the Isis High School to assist in purchasing new equipment in relation to its involvement in the Human Powered Vehicle (HPV) school challenge.
Mr Robinson said items will be accepted at the Showgrounds on the Friday afternoon, June 21 after 2pm. Security will be in place to ensure the safety of all auction items.
“We are inviting people interested in listing goods to contact us via email regarding the auction terms and conditions.
Anyone requiring further information regarding the auction or to advise listings can contact 0474 298 058 or email their enquiries to childersauction@gmail.com.
