Carinbundi Vacation Care
There will be lots of fun school holiday activities for children with disabilities.

The program is open to school children between 8 and 18 with a disability who have NDIS funding.

“We appreciate that cost is often a factor with vacation care programs so we try to keep the daily price as low as possible but still provide some awesome activities,” said Carinbundi chief executive Clive Pearce.

“During the April holidays we have karaoke, movie making, wet and wild days, master chef days planned as well as swimming and craft activities.

“We will also be joining the community-run activities where possible such as Old McDonald’s Farm at Alexandra Park and the Scavenger Hunt at the Botanical Gardens.

“Joining in these community activities enables the kids to participate actively in their community and teaches the true value of social inclusion.”

The focus of the vacation care program is to:

  • Provide a stimulating and fun environment to keep school-aged kids entertained;
  • Develop skills and help children achieve their goals in a fun and stimulating environment;
  • Promote creativity, self-esteem and confidence;
  • Provide challenging and creative activities focusing on leisure and recreation.
