Hundreds of people across the Bundaberg Region are helping the Leukaemia Foundation to “shave the world” from blood cancer.
Hundreds more are making donations and everyone is encouraged to get behind participants.
Community Lifestyle Support is holding a Public Shave at their Ashfield Road premises on Friday, 22 March from 9.30am to 1pm.
North Bundaberg State High School is putting on a “shave for a cure, colour for a cause” event on Friday, 29 March.

The World’s Greatest Shave began in 1998 is now one of Australia’s biggest and most loved fundraising events.
People of all ages will shave, colour, or wax the hair on their head, chest or face – supported all the way by proud family, friends, colleagues and classmates
Some will have a personal connection to blood cancer, while others take part simply to have fun, tick a bucket list box and raise money for a good cause.
More than two million Aussies have taken part to shave the world over the past two decades, with an estimated 37,5000 kilograms of hair removed!
Bundaberg Hitz939 announcers Matty and Trace were among those helping to shave the world last week.
