A big crowd at the Kevin Brogden Memorial Velodrome was treated to a thrilling finish in the 15km men’s scratch event at Cyclefest Bundaberg last night.
World junior sprint champion Tom Cornish from Sydney edged out a strong challenge by Japanese riders after being 50 metres behind New Zealand young gun Corbin Strong with two laps to go.

Tomorrow the Bargara Beach Triathlon takes centre stage.
