Tuesday, 5 February was Safer Internet Day. “Adopt-a-Cop” Meg Owens from the Bundaberg Police Station went to St Luke’s Anglican School to talk with Years 1-6 children about the importance of internet safety.
Lots of social media topics were eagerly discussed including:
- Group chat apps
- Cyber bullying
- Online gaming
- The dangers of talking to people you don’t know
- Leaving your digital footprint
- Your legal responsibilities online.
